Today we have the work of one of my favorite photographers- yes I know I’m a photography junkie but hey what can one do? Anyway, grab your tissues because this couple’s story is a heavy one. I did not know any of this when I was putting this post together and there are obviously no signs in the pictures below. Love is such a beautiful thing and even more beautiful when it endures. I wish Andy and Jamie the best life together and pray their love strengthens forever and ever.

This couple has such an amazing relationship. Jamie had a massive stroke a few years ago that left her in a coma. When they thought all hope was lost she eventually did wake up but was paralyzed. Over the years she has recovered one side of her body but the other is still a work in progress. When I met her I really wanted her to stand out the way she did before she had the stroke based on what she was telling me. So i thought GLAM… i wanted it to be super high fashion. Which is why we had the mink around her neck and photographed some of it at the Madison park in Manhattan. So far no one can even tell she had a stroke in the photos we took so i’m extremely pleased with what we captured.
