Celebrating Sisterhood with this Spring Brunch by Michelle Gainey

When the event planner plans her own birthday brunch, you know it’ll be one to remember, so imagine our excitement when we saw these photos. Michelle Gainey of Lemiga Events is one of our favorites, she never misses and she was not about to start with herself! Her spectacular brunch was such a happy, vibrant affair, inspired by the JOY & Gladness of springtime, and we love every single detail!  This month, we are all about celebrating the gift of sisterhood, the laughs and good times that help ease the burdens of life and create wonderful memories. You can feel the love from her girlfriends who were very on theme with their gorgeous outfits!

 

In her words, “there’s nothing more precious than friends! Friends that uplift you, pray for you, remind you of who you are when you forget, and inspire you to be the best version of yourself. It brought me so much joy to spend my birthday celebrating with this group!
After a very hard 2020, my birthday was the perfect opportunity to gather my friends together Covid free and love on them, after all, they did to hold me up the past year. We celebrated at the new St. Julep rooftop bar at Kimpton Sylvan Hotel. The color palette was inspired by the space and perfect for a Spring brunch in shades of orange, coral, yellow, and teal. The details of my brunch were intentional to make my guests feel special. Each place setting had a custom quote for guests to take home, curated gift boxes, mini cookie stacks, and everyone left with gorgeous blooms. To have my friends, incredible food, sip on sangria and enjoy live music, truly was everything I could have wished for to celebrate my birthday.”
