Love at The View, Mt Adams – Cincinnati Styled Shoot

This editorial was a fun one to design since this venue is brand new in the city of Cincinnati with a modern vibe and a view to end all views. With a breathtaking crystal chandelier above the dance floor by the incredible bar and floor-to-ceiling windows, the View at Mt. Adams is majorly sought after in the Cincinnati market.

We wanted to do something we hadn’t seen in the space up until that point as we wanted to really show off how glam it could be. A lot of people think that when a venue is already gorgeous they don’t have to do anything to it for their event. We think the opposite. It just means you can really play off what it offers and make it YOU.

Since the venue is all white and we did want to keep it kind of neutral with a pop of color, we did white, gold, and navy for our colors. We created a 16 person king’s table down the center of the room draped in textured gold linen which we flanked on either side with a total of 6 blue tables. Everything popped against the white and the natural light really made the gold elements glitter.

We brought in a lot of the blues in the stationery and signage, the gorgeous lounge furniture, and even in the little macaron favors. Our ceremony was an amazing geometric arbor covered in white flowers and a thick aisle of candles, lanterns, and florals complemented it on the far side of the venue.

Our beautiful couple, Danielle & Brette were stunning in their modern wedding day fashion. When we chose Danielle’s dress, I remember telling Jami at Blush Bridal that I wanted a modern dress with clean lines but wanted something wow like a huge bow. Well … I got a HUGE BOW! Danielle killed in it and Brette told us she didn’t want to wear anything feminine and was wanting to rock a tux, I was excited to choose this white tux for her. The two of them looked incredible and you can feel their true, honest love in every photo (they’re actually engaged now and ready to plan their own wedding).

Overall, the day went incredibly well. The owners of the event space were excited to see it dolled up in a way it hadn’t been before. We were excited to design for them and really show off how you could fill the space and really create that wow factor in a venue that already offers WOW.
