We love this black and gold wedding at The Skyline Club in Indianapolis by Soul Creations Photography. Luxe and glamorous, the entire wedding theme exudes modern romance from beginning to end. For starters, their black and white wedding invitations with sketch style design of Indy’s Soldiers and Sailors Monument in Mile Square is classic. Next, their chic gold wedding rings take on a modern twist to the marriage symbol. The couple’s style is completely elegant from head to toe. The bride’s wedding dress features rosette flower detailing and a timeless column silhouette. Her floral fashion decor continues to the white flower hair clip and white rose Betsey Johnson heels. Lastly, groom Thomas stood out with a black and white tux. However, his real flare came with the black velvet loafers that he wore. They added to the celebration’s royalty vibes with gold crown embellishments on the top of each shoe. Take a peek at this glorious wedding day and celebrate #WeddingWednesday right along with us!

The couple’s favorite moment? “It is so hard to pick a favorite but we both loved our first look,” said bride Jordan. “It was the few minutes we had to ourselves to breathe in what was about to happen. We exchanged our gifts to one another and got our nerves out of the way. It was so special and something we 1000% recommend!”

An Elegant Ceremony + Meaningful Moments

Sure, their black and gold wedding details are glorious, but cue the tissues. This special detail touched our hearts so much: “My grandfather had passed 2 years before the wedding but we wanted him to be included in a special way,” said Jordan. “My grandmother gifted us one of his handkerchiefs and my mother pinned into the lining of my dress. It was such a special moment.”

Black and Gold Wedding Theme Inspiration: Classic Yet Totally Elegant

“We wanted a simple but elegant feel with the classic black, white, and gold accents. Very chic but the same time soft with our greenery added in with our flower wall. For the flowers, we wanted to stay with a mostly white pallet but adding in touches of green. We trusted our florist to create magic, and they did! We wanted friends and family to have a beautiful night on the town, there is nothing better than treating yourself to a glammed up event, especially when you get to celebrate love!”

The couple’s advice for newly engaged couples? “Breathe and enjoy every moment! Don’t get too caught up in pleasing everyone and how the napkins are folded. It goes by so quickly and you want to enjoy both the little and big moments along the way and especially day of. Also if you decide not to go with a first look, please take a few moments at some point in night to just celebrate together in love. You will get pulled a million directions and it is easy to get frazzled, but don’t forget its all for LOVE! Also go with the heels! Then change later in the night :)” This is legit advice my friends! Congratulations to the beautiful and wise couple!
